Activity Session 6: Imagine the Future-2030

1. What technologies will we be using?

2. Where will we shop?
3. What would the classroom look like?

First of all, there has been multiple research done regarding this futuristic topic. Journals and
recognized web sites such as: The World Economic Forum, have tried to simulate what our reality will
be in the future, 8 years from now.

I will wake up in 2030, one day more, one day less. The Amazon Alexa scans my break time
and tells me what to do for the day. Through a dispensing machine that knows my medications for the
day, it gives me the dose along with the recommendations for each one. The magic mirror decides
through my mood, the wardrobe options of the day. The electric car that I share with friends who live
near me comes to take us to the Tec, where upon arrival, the sensor is so precise that it recognizes who
we are at 5 meters, without the need to open windows.
Being in class, everyone connects in a VR that does not take us to a virtual reality where we can
interact with the class material, doing simulations of inventions, interview important characters and
expand our knowledge at a 3D level. The new gym at the Tec, with implemented technology, does a
full body scan when you enter, measuring your percentages of muscle and fat, the aches and pains you
have and gives you a precise routine.I sign up for a virtual reality class for a tennis practice with one
of the best players in the ATP.
At the end, I return to class where the topic of summer vacations comes up. I tell you that my
parents have decided to go for a couple of weeks to a spiritual retreat on the Moon. The new video
game is BuildMe, which consists of creating a robot through programming code and if it completes its
tasks, it can be printed on a 4D printer. While I go to the supermarket, select through my cell phone
what I need to buy, I order it and when I arrive a robot brings it to the door, loading the groceries
directly to the car. When I get home, I attend a virtual party, where within a social platform
(Instagram) and virtual reality, we can upload stories as other characters
