There is no exact distance between retail clothing brand shops, we have analyzed
Bangladeshi top clothing brand location distance. We have got some valuable aspects
from these locations,

1. If we calculate these store distances on average then the top brand's store
distance average is 7- 8 KM.
But if we calculate the average only for Dhaka south city corporation then this
average will stand at 4.5-5.5 KM.
And for the Dhaka north city corporation it will be increased by 2 KM
because in the north these retail shops distance is higher than in the south.

We suggest you ignore this distance calculation and focus on the time difference
because one thing we found common is every store's timing distance is 30 Min,
meaning you need 30 mins to reach one store to another store in busy traffic
time. And it’s applicable all around Dhaka city.

2. If we divide Dhaka city into two parts north and south, then we can see that every
top clothing brand has set up most of their store in the south, even 70 percent of
their store is in the south and others are in the north.
The reason behind this is the population density in Dhaka's north
population density is 30,353 per KM and in the south it 39,371.

3. In Aarong’s showroom, they use low brighter light in their showroom, they use this light
because of their dress color combination. Arong products have a different theme which
is kind of a faded color.
4. Arong always involves in different social work for promotion purposes, and they always
represent their social agenda. It always creates a soft corner for arong in the customer's
mind.
Bangladeshi Fast growing Retail clothing brand “La reve” location and distance measure.

La reve strategy:
1. La reve always set up their store on the roadside view, which means they always set up
their showroom in easy-view places where people can see easily their shop and
branding.

2. Most of the showrooms have two floors and on the second floor they always represent
their mannequin, so it's become easier to promote their product from the top.

3. La reve always rent a showroom around a superstore or a departmental store, the


reason behind this is a large number of people every day come to purchase from these
stores and a good eye catchy mannequin can attract lots of customer to the store.

Uniqlo Strategy:

1. The most highlighted insight about Uniqlo is, in the science lab area they have 2 stores
just in 500 Metar of distance, although they already have a store in the science lab but
when arong start their new showroom beside of city college they also rent a showroom
on the same building. In this way, they can get some more footprint through arong.

Twelve Clothing Strategy:

1. Twelve brands' biggest strategy is visual merchandising, below we have added some of
their showroom's visual merchandising photos.
Visual merchandising is a marketing technique that uses design, color, lighting, displays,
technology, and other components to draw customers in. Such visual merchandising
pursues customers to purchase. In twelve they did use a unique type of equipment like
motorbikes, different lights, and other differences.
Nowadays, visual merchandising attracts more people than normal visual
merchandising.
2. Their indoor decoration is also eye catchy, they set up a kid's zone where kids can play.
Most of the time customers try to do shopping quickly for their kids even they most of the
time customers ignore some collection of products for their kids that’s a kid’s zone that
can be important for giving our customers a fluent shopping time. And they also set up
some mannequins in a good position and install some equipment like motorbikes in their
showrooms.
