19 Kagawad Peter Share S. Liño presided the meeting by having a roll call of the
20 attendees. The meeting started on exactly 10:00 in the morning. The meeting was
21 formally open through a prayer given by Ma’am Susan A. Duran, a Child Development
22 Worker, and for the National Anthem, Ma’am Erleen T. Natad.
23 The body discussed that there is a need to conduct a Parent-Teacher Conference
24 every end of the school year so that the parents are aware of the development of their
25 children as well as to inform them of what should be done in order to help assist their
26 children.
27 Ma’am Ferdilen Concha explains the monthly activities of the ECCD Program
28 wherein she stated that on the months of March an intake for checklist of children
29 enrolled will take place.
30 Also, the conduct of General Assembly is also seen relevant by the body. A
31 general assembly should be made before the start of the school year as well as the end
32 of the school year such way that the parents of Barangay Zone III can interact and
33 share some of their same experience as parents of children enrolled in the Child
34 Development Centers in Barangay Zone III.
35 Also, the Child Development Workers also expresses their desire to create a
36 Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) for the whole Barangay Zone III in order to have an
37 association of parents who will represent the whole Barangay Zone III.
38 Despite the unending effort of the Barangay Officials of Barangay Zone III, there
39 are still facilities and equipment needed by the Child Development Centers in Barangay
40 Zone III. For the National Child Development Center, they lack a waiting area for
41 parents and guardians of the children enrolled, a repair for their electricity and
42 playground for the children. For the Child Development Center A under Ma’am Grace
43 Banal as well as Ma’am Erleen Natad, Ma’am Susan Duran, Ma’am Edelyne Cualquera
44 and Maam Junna A. Largo, they request for a feeding area which will be used during
45 the Supplementary Feeding which is beneficial for the children enrolled, also they also
46 requested a printer to be used in order to produce worksheets for the students.
47 Ma’am Junna Largo expresses her concern regarding her Child Development
48 Center. She mentioned that the lot wherein her Child Development Center is located is
49 said to be sold by the owner. She appeal to the intervention of the Barangay regarding
50 this matter.

52 Having no other concerns raised, the meeting was called to adjourned and ended with a
53 prayer.
