Coming Up:
- World Diabetes Day is November 14th, please bring in a looney or tooney on
November 15th and WEAR BLUE to support our students living with diabetes
- Progress Reports will go home virtually November 16th
- Parent Teacher Conferences (over the phone/Google Meet) are November 18th
- The next CSC meeting will be November 24th at 6:30pm via Google Meet
- November 26th is a PA Day, there will be no school for students
- December 3rd is Graduation Photos for Grade 8 students
- December 17th is the last day of school before Christmas Holidays!

 Kiss and Ride Procedure
We need your help in making our Kiss and Ride safer for our students and for this we
need everyone’s attention and cooperation.
1. Please be patient and wait for your turn in the line-up
2. DO NOT skip in front of other cars.
3. Ensure that your child gets out of the car on the sidewalk side of the street
4. Parents do not get out of your car or walk your child to the school entrance. We
need to keep the flow of cars moving. If your child needs help getting out of the car
or getting their backpack on, park in the church parking lot so you can assist them
with this.
5. Factor in more time in the morning and slow down when dropping off your
child(ren).
Thank you for working with us and ensuring the safety of all of our students. Beginning
Monday there will be more pylons to help contain the Kiss and Ride and staff will be
handing out flyers to cars in the Kiss and Ride advising of these reminders.

We currently do not have any reported cases of Pediculosis but know that this is
the time of year. We ask that parents be mindful and review Facts About Head Lice

November 2021 start
We’re not sure exactly how this will impact our morning and afternoon
routines but please prepare for possible delays and factor in extra time as
this might be needed if you are driving your child to school. Areas
impacted: Installation of sidewalk on Parkway Avenue from Liberty Street
to Parkway Crescent within the north boulevard AND Installation of sidewalk and roadway curb on
Parkway Crescent from Parkway Avenue to the frontage of St. Joseph Elementary School within the
west boulevard We thank you for your cooperation and support with this in ensuring the safety of all of
our students.
