Dear Mayor _______________,

The Local Accountants of Zamboanga del Sur have the outmost desire to maintain the
same understanding and interpretation on government accounting rules and regulations to
maintain uniformity of implementation in our respective agencies. Despite the busy schedules of
all accountants, we see the need to meet at least once a month for our regular monthly
conference to tackle on some issues and concerns that we encounter in performing our
respective duties and responsibilities.

Some of the matters that needs to be discussed are the following:

1. Follow-up Discussion of COA Circular 2023-008 (Dormant Accounts)
2. PPE Cleansing and System
3. Discussion of CY 2023 Audit Observation Memorandum (AOM)
4. Other Matters

Anent to this, we are requesting the presence of your Municipal Accountant to attend our
regular monthly conference on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Hotel Guillermo, Pagadian City. A
registration fee of P2,000.00 will be collected to defray the expenses for the said conference
subject to laws, rules and regulations governing such.
