MODULE 7 ASSESSMENT

Activity 1 Essay

1. Given a chance to acquire one of Rizal’s capabilities, what would it be and how would you use it as a
student or in life?

He was a Wonderful Son. To address his mother's eye condition, he trained to become an eye doctor. In
order to properly repair his mother's cataract, he put in a lot of effort learning how the human eye
works. What can you do to make your co-worker a loving son, daughter, or employee? You can certainly
think of one or two basic things to turn into one right now. Once you can start earning through honest
employment, you can assist your parents with regular domestic responsibilities and maintain financial
security at home. Once you've completed your usual office responsibilities, you can provide a hand to
your co-workers, especially if you're familiar with the tasks they require assistance with. I admire also his
Concern for others' well-being. He dutifully obeyed his mother's important life lessons as a young child,
including becoming a good person and always thinking about the welfare of others. This was evident
until we lost Jose Rizal in 1896, when he was executed. He had always thought that government
improvements were yet possible. By all means, he wished to avoid a bloody revolution.

Activity 2 ‘Hymn to my Town’

My happy place, Taytay, Palawan is located 220 kilometers northeast of Puerto Princesa. It is
bounded in the north by El Nido, in the south by San Vicente and Dumaran, in the east by Taytay Bay
and the Sulu Sea, and in the west by the South China Sea.

History, culture, and natural beauty abound in my hometown. It is the province's largest
municipality and Palawan's first capital. Lake Manguao, the province's largest freshwater lake, and the
Malampaya Sound, dubbed the "Fish Bowl of the Philippines," are both located here. Taytay is a good
location since it is home to a variety of birds, is covered in forest, has limestone islands, white sand
beaches, and various types of endangered marine life.

In 1623, Taytay, which means "bridge" in the local dialect, became a Spanish town. To this day,
relics of Taytay's colonial past may be found, including the "Fuerza de Santa Isabel," a 17th century
Spanish fortification, the Roman Catholic Church of Santa Monica, with its massive walls of solid
limestone blocks, and the remnants of the former Governor's Mansion.
