III. Procedure
A. Preliminary Activities:
1. Prayer
2. Singing of “ Kaabag sa Kumunidad”
3. Attendance, raising classroom standards , and presenting the Rubrics
of Recitation.
4.Drill: Reading the words shown ( names of different places in the community.)
5.Review: Identifying the Community Helpers

B. Developmental Activities : ( Powerpoint presentation.)


1. Motivation: A Poem :” Ang Magtutudlo” Let some pupils recite the Poem.
Ask: Who is the helper in the community mentioned in the poem.
Where do the teachers teach?
2. Activity: A. Present the activities through Powerpoint Presentation.
1. Pick-Me-Up Activity.
Every Pupil will pick and say something about the Pictures.
2. Matching the community helpers to the pictures of places where
they are working.
3.Let them identify the letter name and sounds of the word shown

then let them count the syllables through clapping.


3.. Analysis : Asking questions to develop their critical thinking.
a. When the house is burning, to whom do you call for help? Where did
the Firemen stay.
b. What will you do if you are house is on fire, then you are inside?
Follow up discussion on fire drill procedure.
c. Why should we wrap our body with wet towels or blanket while going
out of the house ?
d. How often you go to the Dentist Clinic for tooth decay check-up ?
What will you do to avoid tooth decay? ( Ways of tooth brushing}
How did you brush your teeth?
e. Showing the picture of school, ask: Who are in the school? Is it
important to go to school everyday? Why?

f. Show more places in the community then let them analyze the
importance of them and the community he;pers working in it.

4. Abstraction:
Based on the 2 activities given, what are those pictures you’ve presented?
Let them inumerate the different places in the community.

4. Application : Contest/ Game


Group the pupils into 3. Let them yell if they are called.
Teacher ask questions, the paticipants tell the correct letter of places that
answer the question ask in the slate boards. The group who got more
points will be the winner.
