 Abstraction
Alright, so our lesson for today is about shapes. Are you familiar with
shapes? Great! But let Teacher Jana explain it to all of you. Shapes
are also known as figures made up of fixed lines or curves. Let
Teacher Jana give you an example of basic shapes. So, this is a circle.
A circle is a shape that does not have any lines or corners. For
example, the wheel of a vehicle, pizza base, dartboard. And this is a
square, a shape that is formed by four sides. The length of each side is
equal in measurement. For example, a chessboard and a carrom
board. And this is a triangle, a shape with three. For example, the
shape of tangy nachos, one slice of pizza. And here is a rectangle, it
also has four sides. Unlike with square, the length of the 2 opposite
sides is longer than the other 2 sides. For example, the screen of your
gadgets, mommy’s phones, etc.

 Application
Teacher Jana will group you into two groups and you will be given an
envelope. This envelope contains different shapes. Using these
shapes, you need to create a house and paste it on the board. The
group who finishes first will be the winner.

IV. Assessment
And now, we have an activity regarding our lesson for today. You just need
to match each shape to its correct
object.
V. Assignment
And for your assignment, you just need to fill it using the correct color per shape.
