My Story Report
The Speaker of the session was Mr.Vipin Mathew, Managing Director, Srishti
Robotics Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Ernakulam, Kerala, India who is also an alumni of
the college . The session mainly focused on his innovations in Machine Vision
Intelligence and robotics. He share about his experience in innovative startups and
how he transform his idea and innovation in a startup . Many students actively
participated with interest in the session. The session started with the speaker’s
emphasis on innovation in the area of robotics. He also explained that the Kerala
Govt. Contributes through K-DISC, where enthusiastic individuals from different
parts of Kerala meet and exchange their ideas for the betterment of technology
aided and innovative start-ups.
Furthermore, he spoke about the importance of college incubators, providing a
platform for students to showcase their entrepreneurial skills. He gave his insights
about the technology assessment at different stages of a ‘technology development
cycle’ for successful technology development and deployment. He discusses with
the faculty and students about frame works for technology assessment is the
Technology Readiness Level (TRL) scale. He has also explained about the
innovation steps in product, process and business model. In addition, he stressed
the importance of development of innovative eco system in the college and
involvement of all stakeholders, and how management, students, faculty and
alumni should collaborate to reach greater heights. Earlier the innovative
ambassadors Mr.Shinu M M welcomed the gathering and Ms.Jinsa Mathew
delivered the vote of thanks.
