Guidelines for DAMPA-AY & RUBBER BAND THROW

DAMPA-AY

1. The objective of the game is to move the rubber band forward from a line. The
dampa game also allows the players to develop their arm strength, patience in
waiting their turn to play, courtesy regarding other players’ mistakes, and skill to
produce an amount of air with their palms.
2. Each college shall have 2 participants (male/female).
3. Participants shall wear cycling or any pants and T-shirt.
4. Materials needed:
a.) Rubber band
b.) Chalk or charcoal (to draw the designated starting line with)

Mechanics:

1. The rubber bands should be piled one on top of the other on the ground.
2. Each player takes a turn in moving the rubber bands out from the heap.
3. First, the player should aim to dislodge an odd number of rubber bands from the
heap. He loses a turn if he displaces an even number of bands.
4. The player’s next aim is to move an odd number of rubber bands beyond the
designated line.
5. When successful, he wins the round and take the rubber bands that went beyond
the line as his loot.
6. But if the player moves an even number of rubber bands beyond the line, his
opponent takes those rubber bands.
7. The declared winner will be the participant who has out beaten all other
participants.

RUBBER BAND THROW

1. Each player will show their skills in shooting the lastiko or rubber band into the
stick.
2. Using a stick broom, Let the stick stand at the center.
3. Player will stand 6 feet away from the stick.
4. Player will shoot 10 rubber bands into the stick (one at a time).
5. The player with the greatest number of rubber bands on the stick.
