COURSE DESIGN
QUALIFICATION TITLE : ORGANIC AGRICULTURE PRODUCTION

QUALIFICATION LEVEL : NC II

NOMINAL DURATION : 232 Hours

MODULE DESCRIPTION :

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, desirable skills and


attitudes of Organic Agriculture Production NC II in accordance with industry
standards. It covers Basic, Common, Core and Elective competencies such as
Participate in workplace communication, Work in a team environment, Practice
career professionalism, Practice occupational health and safety procedures,
Apply safety measures in farm operations, Use farm tools and equipment,
Perform estimation and calculations, Develop and update industry knowledge,
Perform record keeping Raise organic chicken, Produce organic vegetables,
Produce organic fertilizer, Produce organic concoctions and extracts, Raise
organic hogs and Raise organic small ruminants. This program is much
beneficial to farmers and aspiring farmers.
