Dear registrastion supervisor

My name is Audrey Fajar Siswanto from Bogor and I am a batch 2022 law student at Diponegoro
University. In this letter. I hereby write this essay to convey my sincere attentiveness in applying to the
ALSA’s OLMA of Diponegoro University 2024. I became aware of this very fascinating program
through my research regarding ALSA’s recruitment and I happened to be stumbling upon this enthralling
program that this organization offers through the Instagram page. After learning more information about
this program theme “Striving for development of potential abilities and instillment of skills to achieve
self-character building”, I am delighted that the grand theme of ALSA’s Organizing, Leadership and
Management program is an appropriate place that form and train our skills as a candidate. I’ve always
dreamt about advancing my knowledge of law and working in an organization, and I believe that the
experience in ALSA would set me miles ahead to reach my goal. I chose ALSA due to its outstanding
achievement and its exquisite events, from my research, Asian Law Students’ Association (ALSA) is a
non-profit, non-political organization that aims to connect law students from the corners of Asia. As an
organization that includes 17 national chapters, ALSA has been a melting pot for various Asian cultures
since its founding over 30 years ago. With the sheer number of national chapters that joined ALSA, the
organization has connected around 12.000 students Asia-wide. This proves that ALSA is successful in
terms of educating and accepting only of those who have great potential, and I am looking forward to
be as successful. My passion for studying abroad and being able to learn about new cultures and its
diversity have started ever since I was young. Apart from that, I have a highly enthusiastic spirit towards
studying and committing to ALSA values to be legally skilled, socially responsible, academically
committed, and internationally minded. This values resonates within me. From there begins my
aspiration to accommodate our nation and community. Therefore, this program is suitable for me due
to their capability in providing me opportunities to achieve learnings nationally and internationally.
During my interval studying at school, people around me always described me as a goal-oriented person,
curious, caring and hardworking individual. This is proved by my experience from joining student
council due to my curious and hardworking characteristics where there I learnt time management,
leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills through working as a team with my fellow
colleagues. I felt like my passion as well as my character by nature have been dispensed well by
participating in organizations like this.
As a recapitulation, this programme aligns well with my background and my motivation. As well as
that, I believe and hope my character will serve well in this organization. To be able of having an
opportunity to work both abroad and nationally is my utmost goal, and I believe together with this
highly reputable organization will I be able to realize my objectives and attain valuable skills. Finally,
I wish to be a part of ALSA and I am anticipating for your respond. Thank you for your time and
attention.

Sincerely, Audrey Fajar Siswanto
