Dear Mr Hagen

I am writing to express my interest for a place on the volunteering programme which currently
offers a place as an English teacher in remote villages.

As a young, extremely motivated English teacher, I strongly believe that I would be suitable for the
role, because of my outstanding English level, which has proven to be as high as mentioned before
when I volunteered as an English teacher in South Africa.

Furthermore, before teaching as a volunteer in South Africa became part of my life, I had been
working as a babysitter in Alicante, which gave me some experience on dealing with young
children.
This programme particularly appeals to me, because of my qualities expressed previously and my
motivation to experience a different culture, in which I will learn from other people while I teach
English to other learners. In other words, it will enrich both my cultural and social experience.

As a matter of fact, I am also a musician, as I have been playing both piano and clarinet since I was
5 years old until now. I understand it is English teachers what you are looking for, but I would be
thankful if this was bored in mind, as I could be of great help in said aspect.

I would like to know what the training involves as well as the location of the school I would be
teaching in, as it was not clear in the announcement whether it is free or not.
