English final task

Move to england

Working conditions:

As of 12 of april 2022 the uk is expierncing one of its lowest unemployment rates since December of
2019. After the pandemic it seems that the uk is standing firm on its feet and still keeping the
unemployment rate at an all time low. The working conditions are quite similar to the working
conditions in Norway.

What kind of jobs:

The easiest option would ofc be to look for a lower paid job, because they often have less limitations
when it comes to immigration papers, and general knowledge, you don’t need a medical degree to
become a store clerk you know. As someone who has already looked into studying abroad, I know
that there are a whole country of tests you have to pass before even getting close to becoming a
nurse in England. Some of these tests include the academic ielts or Oet ( Academic ielt’s with an
average of 7 or an Oet with B passing), Onp (), Two A- Levels which equal the score of an ielts result
of 7.0, English Proficiancy certificate, Toefl, Cbt and the actuall nursing tests you will need to
complete the Nmc self-assessment, register in the Nmc Registration, NmcAA’s, submit document to
the GNF, u need a valid COS, an NHS trust act, OSCE, NMC pin and a visa application!

So, it’s actually hell and try to get into, but once you do get into it, it’s a pretty secure work field due
to the current lack of healthcare workers. As a nurse you will earn between 40’000 pounds – 45’000
pounds which translates to about 550 000 kr. This is if you work as a band 7 nurse (the groupings
they have for how much nurses are to earn in England) a standard nurse will earn around 30 000
pounds

Taxes and Insurance:

My total tax pay each year is about 11 000 pounds this isn’t that far from the Norwegian tax pay,
where I would have to pay 13 000kr if I were to earn 45 000 each year. The average house insurance
is at about 140 pounds, I think this sounds reasonable as the house insurance I found ranged from
about 120 to 200 pounds yearly, this of course depends on how big your house is, but its calculated
for 35 000 pounds worth of stuff in your house which aint far away in my opinion.

Average health insurance is about 1,500 pounds. There’s free health insurance for kids in the uk so
until my 7-year-old daughter turns 18 she is insured safety

Car insurance you have to get from the locals, my house is located in Norwhich which is close to
London, the average insurance usually goes for around 725 pounds a year, which seems to account
well for what ive seen on the car insurance thing

My child goes to Recreation road infant school, children are enrolled in school at the age of 5 in
either infant schools or
