Central Asian Leadership Programme on Environment for Sustainable Development

According to Richard Rogers, "the only way forward if we are to improve the quality of the

environment is to get everybody involved." This program, the Central Asian Leadership

Programme on Environment for Sustainable Development, greatly assists Central Asian countries

and Afghanistan in resolving environmental issues by having leaders. They are referred to as

leaders because they have a good impact on their respective countries. I recognized that this

program allowed humanity to take a breather and consider the future.

This Leadership Programme focuses on projects, processes, ideas, and examples in the

framework of the Green Economy and the transition to the Circular Economy in Central Asian

countries and Afghanistan. Furthermore, we require leadership and collaboration to raise

awareness of sustainable development. This existing program assists me in appreciating the

surroundings. Indeed, we cannot exist in this world without the environment. It also underlines the

importance of youth in influencing others to take action to address environmental challenges. It

truly is a one-of-a-kind capacity-building program. This programme provides young professionals

with high-quality training. This will enable future decision-makers to understand complicated

environmental and sustainable development concerns on a local and global scale. I am confident

that this capacity-building project will enable them to engage together and comprehensively on

issues ranging from water cooperation to gender equality, energy efficiency, ecosystems, and

ESD. It is a tremendous aid because holding programs, conferences, and sharing platforms will

bring stakeholders together. This curriculum taught me that we should solve problems with

solutions rather than making them our hurdles.

In conclusion, CALP's success is based on thinking globally, coordinating regionally, and

acting locally. CALP seeks to maintain its alliances and funds in order to continue its operations.

This program encourages regional cooperation and long-term sustainability. Without a doubt,

inclusive leadership and cooperation are the key to tackling environmental and other problems in

Central Asian countries and Afghanistan.
