The diagram illustrates the production of goods made from leather.

Overall, there are 11 steps in the process of producing leather goods, beginning
with drying animal skin and finishing with the final goods ready to be used by
consumers.

At the initial stage of manufacturing leather products, animal skin is dried before
being transported to a factory for the following steps. On arriving at the factory,
the dry animal skin, in combination with both water and lime, is washed in a tank.
After that, the resulting mixture is soaked in another tank with lime.

The next step of the leather goods production process involves the soaked animal
skin being transported through a machine to be flattened. Then, the flat product is
then soaked again in another large tank, with the support of tannin, which is a
mixture between water and vegetable matter. Following that, after being polished,
the animal skin is delivered to another factory, where it is made into different
types of leather goods such as shoes, high heels, bags and balls, ready to be sold.
