Luca Gianotti

trained as a surgeon at the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan.
His clinical interests focus surgery of the pancreas, liver, and
biliary tree. His research interests include surgical nutrition and
metabolism, surgical infections and pancreatic cancer. He has
over 250 publications in peer-reviewed journals and has lectured
both nationally and internationally. He serves as reviewer for
more 50 international scientific journals.
He has been awarded the prestigious Arvid Wretlind Lecture at
the 41st ESPEN Congress in 2019, Ken Fearon lecture at the 6th
World Congress of the ERAS Society in 2018, the fellowship of
