MY STUDY OBJECTIVE

It was until Junior High School. I realized my strength in science and the social environment.
This gave me focus in discovering myself and passion in understanding the people around me
and to help them understand themselves. I chose Psychology as my major during my study in
The University of Cape Coast. This gave me enormous opportunities within my four years of
study. I worked hard as a front desk officer at Ghana Revenue Authority where I helped people
file and pay their taxes. Down this road has been a great catalyst in harnessing my abilities
and skills as well as making me matured and responsible.

My personal development throughout these years hasn’t just been chronological, but also
contributions of my involvement in extra-curricular activities, I became a church leader at First
Love Church from 2018-2020. Although I was a church leader, we went through series of
training which taught me good leadership skills, changed my mindset, and how to negotiate.
My involvement in philanthropy with my friend at Love Club Foundation also contributed to
me being more responsible. My dedication to this club has not only been to feed these poor
kids but to teach these street kids their self-worth, good personal hygiene practice and
benefits of schooling etc.

My desire to help and give back to the community has fueled my urge to study in the United
States for applying Maters Degree’s Fulbright Program. In as much as I want to join this
program, I also want to develop my skills and competence and to further in Psychology as a
marriage and family counselor since this will help me explore newer experiences.

My career aspirations sure have a strong influence on my career path. I would love to give
back every skill, and competence and knowledge to the society as a marriage and family
counselor. Again, I would like to build a Non-Governmental Organization whose focus is
protection of children and women. I also want to be a writer in self-help and motivational
books and fictions as well. I am fully persuaded to join in Fulbright Master-Degree’s program
because I want to further my studies, get new experiences and change my environment as
well as assimilate American culture. I wish this program can give me an opportunity to harness
my potential by studying in the United States.
