HOW TO USE Gravity Shock Recorder G-MEN

§1.Setting
1-1. Install G-TRACE light software and device driver software to a personal computer (PC) from attached
CD-ROM.
1-2. Connect the G-MEN and the PC by attached USB cable.
1-3. Start the G-TRACE light software.
1-4. Click “Receive” button (Refer to graph (1)).
1-5. Check the conditions of measurement as follows.
R Interval: 3min
Start Option: 1(Magnet trigger only start measuring)
Sampling: 0.0100
Threshold: 3.0
Hazard: 0.0
Detect Over T: OFF
Endless: OFF
ID: 01 or 02 (This number is written on the G-MEN)
Buzzer: OFF
1-6. If there is any mismatch about the conditions of measurement, click “Wizard of Setup” button, and set
conditions. (Refer to graph (1))
1-7. Click “Prmpt Measuring” button (Refer to graph (1)).
1-8. Check the displayed message on the G-MEN showing ”WAITMGNT”. WAITMGNT” means
magnet-waiting mode.

Attention: If the batteries are running low, change the new batteries and set condition again.
§2.Install G-MEN to the machine
2-1. Contact magnet on the right side of G-MEN, before you install G-MEN to the machine.
2-2. After display shows ”dETECTEd”, G-MEN starts the measurement.

Move the magnet closer to here.

2-3. Install the G-MEN on the backside of the MDI unit such as Graph (2).

2-4. The G-MEN is settled by magnet. Secure the G-MEN with tape for reinforcement.
2-5. Take pictures of installed the G-MEN.
2-6. Turn on the machine and run it as usual. Measurement period is about a week.
§3.Get data from G-MEN
3-1. After measurement, connect G-MEN and the computer by the USB cable.
3-2. Start the G-TRACE light, and click “Data Display” (Graph (3)).

3-3. Click the “Get Data” button, and check that graph is displayed. (Refer to graph (4))

3-4. Save measured data as [.gtr] file format.
3-5. Send us measured data and taken picture by e-mail.
