Sweet Peas
We are so grateful for the energy our Sweet Peas bring to our classrooms. Their eagerness to learn is contagious and the smiles on their faces brighten every room. We will be talking about our families, our homes, ways of helping others and communicating throughout the month

hanksgiving is a time for tasty turkey and pumpkin pie, but more than that, its a time to count our blessings! Here at Kids Village, we consider you and your family one of our most precious blessings. We are thankful for classrooms full of amazing children who are eager to learn, caring parents who take an active role in their childs education, and a wonderful community that supports our vision for success in learning. We are thankful for you!! With the Thanksgiving Holiday comes stories of the First Thanksgiving, fun crafts and decorations to dress up your Thanksgiving table, and of course each class will have their own Thanksgiving Feast. The children love taking part in this holiday tradition and cant wait to share a meal with their friends. We will be sending all of the details through email before the big day so be sure to watch for it. November brings an extra chill to the air and with it, the need for jackets and coats. Please make sure all of your childs outer wear is marked clearly with their first and last name. We keep unclaimed clothing items in our Lost & Found. So if your childs jacket, sweater, or coat has been misplaced please come in and take a look. Has your child been talking non-stop about a new friend from school? Are you wondering how you are ever going to meet this wonderful little friend? Well, weve got the answer! Come to our Meet & Mingle during the week of November 7th - 11th. Its the perfect opportunity to meet other Kids Village parents, exchange phone numbers, schedule play dates and car pools, and maybe even make a few new friends yourself. Again, watch for an email with specific dates and times for your childs class. Dont forget to bring in your Kids Village R.E.A.D.S. calendar for the month of October. Sign your initials on each day your child spends time reading or being read to. We totaled all of the points for September and the results are in. The big winner for the month of September is Miss Rayas Sweet Pea and Tator Tot classes. They get to enjoy our Prize Book Basket filled to the brim with brand new books! Congratulations! Who will be the winner for the month of October? Cant wait to see! A few great books to look for during the month of November are: Ten Fat Turkeys by Tony Johnston, Thanksgiving Is . . . by Gail Gibbons, or Thanks for Thanksgiving by Julie Markes. We are so excited to share this special month of gratitude and Thanksgiving with you! Thank you for making Kids Village so wonderful.
