Gadis kretek was directed by two directors who won
the Citra Cup, namely Kamila Andini and Ifa Isfansyah.
No half-hearted, this series features one of
Indonesia's best actresses, namely Dian
Sastrowardoyo, as the main character who plays
Dasiyah or Jeng Yah. Apart from Dian, this series also
stars Ario Bayu, Putri Marino, Arya Saloka, Tissa Biani,
and other actors.
 EVALUATION
Even though Kretek Girls are classified
as slow burn, slowly we will start to
know who they are one by one
without any significant difficulties.
The narrative thread throughout
Kretek Girl is stitched very beautifully,
preceded by a letter that Lebas and
Arum found, and the letter was then
read by both of them.
 SUMMARY
Although the plot is a little slow, this
series is very entertaining. Lots of
political intrigue and hidden mysteries,
packaged against the backdrop of the
tobacco industry, make Kretek Girl
worth watching.
