Subject: New Text Books for classes III and VI from academic session, 2024-25-reg.

Madam/Sir
National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has
informed vide its letter dated 18.03.2024 that new text books for classes III and VI
are being developed and soon it will be ready (copy enclosed). Hence, it is decided to
follow only new text books for classes III and VI in KVs. Accordingly, it is requested
to give the necessary directions to the Principal of all KV s under your jurisdiction to
inform the teachers and the students & parents in writing to buy new text books
only whenever it is available in the market.

Further, there will be a bridge courses for class VI in April, 2024 and succinct
guidelines for class III and that will be shared with all regions once it is received
from NCERT.
