Objectives: to acquire/revise the vocabulary and use it correctly.
Competences:
1. to build up a presentation of their own;
2. to write sentences using ‘s genitive;
3. to use the new vocabulary acquired in order to speak about
family relationship;
4. to read a simple text, using new vocabulary acquired;
5. to choose the right alternative according to the text;
Classroom organisation: pairwork, individual work.
Methods: conversation, practising, systemahtical observation.
Material: pictures, workpapers.
PROCEDURE

1. Warming-up:
-greeting, casual conversation.

2.Revising the knowledge recently acquired:


-checking homework -Names in my family;

3. Introducing the new lesson:


- family relationship brainstorming;
- announcing the aim & the objectives of the lesson.

4.Teaching the new lesson:


 Writing Activity
-writing sentences about a family tree- ex.1/p.23-Ss’ Book.
 Speaking Activity
-making sentences in order to speak about their families.
-reading comprehension-ex.4/p.25- Ss’ Book

5. Issuing the homework:


-write sentences about families using grandson/granddaughter,
nephew/niece, wife/husband.

5. Ending the lesson


-teacher evaluates & praises the Ss’ activity;
-Ss are dismissed.
