    1. 1 step transfer posting


    2. When storage locations are nearby
    Movement type: 311 (from storage to storage within the same plant)

    Movement type is responsible what will happen in inventory and accounting

    To display material doc: mb03


    Accounting is done on the plant level not storage location level

    3. 2 step transfer posting


    Took long time (days) or large quantities
    Remove from storage location – stock in transit
    Remove from stock in transit – storage location
    Movement type: 313 (transfer posting – remove from storage location)

    Step 2: MIGO: place in storage location
