I am reflecting on my learnings, struggles,

experiences, and memories in science
subject during the first and second quarter.
As a student, I am always eager to learn
more and apply my knowledge to real-
world problems. Through this diary, I hope
to gain insight into my own growth and
development.

In the first quarter, I learned about the steps of
Scientific Method, elements and compounds,
mixtures and substances, solutions and
concentration of solutions. I struggled with
understanding the concept of Periodic Table of
Elements and to differentiate metalloids, non-
metal, and metal, but I try to search and read
about the topic, I was able to get a grasp of it.
One memorable moment from this quarter was
when we performed experiments like "The
Colorful Jar" to determine the reactions of
elements and compounds and "The Secret
Messages." I also had the opportunity to go on
the lab and identify some Science tool. I would
say I really have the best experience in the first
quarter.

We failed on our first attempt but

we were able to see the final result.
In the second quarter, I learned about biology.
Biology is a fascinating field that explores the
living world, including cells, organisms, and
ecosystems. I had the opportunity to practice
using the microscope to observe different
specimens. I faced some challenges when it
came to identifying the types of asexual
reproduction. We also have a hard time on
using microscope including my group mates
but we did give up. It was really not good
experience for me compare to first but I'm still
glad that I had an opportunity to use a
microscope. We really don't have a lot group
activity which is my favorite but we use
microscope for a week so it was really not bad
experience for me.

One of my best experience in the whole quarter
is I had the opportunity to practice using the
microscope to observe different specimens.
This experience taught me the importance of
practical knowledge and the application of
theory in the field of science. Of course I won't
be able to forget my experience when we're
having a group activity. I'm also excited when
we have a group activity because it can
improve my communicating skills and we we're
able to brain storm and share our opinions with
other.

Based on my experiences, I have learned that

science involves a continuous process of
learning, trial and error, and the application of
knowledge in real-world situations. I have also
learned the importance of persistence and
dedication to overcome struggles and achieve
success. I'm looking forward to the next quarter
to continue learning and exploring new
concepts in the field of science. Our next topic
is all about physics, I hope I was able to improve
my skills because it about math and I love
solving math problems.

Last memory in
second quarter

I wish I could share more of my memories but sadly

I try to back read in our last and current group chat
but i couldn’t find anything more. While doing this
diary I hope that I can make more memories with
my classmates and forever will treasure it. Having a
small interaction with them while doing our activity
is actually fun. I guess I’m lucky with my past and
current groupmates because of all the activity you
can meet some new friends. Goodluck of my next
journey this quarter.
 First Hydroponics

This is the first time I was introduce

on the hydroponics. I really enjoy
doing it, it was fun yet tiring and hard.

I was so amazed seeing some

science tool that are unfamiliar
to me. This is also my first time
exploring a laboratory and I’m
glad that i would be able to see
some new cool stuffs
