Ex-i Pulses emitter for mechanical counter

The EM 345 pulses emitter is designed to be mounted in

the Veeder-Root 7887 mechanical counter and it can be
easily installed on all ISOIL p.d. meters with or without
ticket printer.
The EM 345 is made of an aluminium disk with one or more
notches mounted on one of the inner shafts of the
mechanical counter.
On the middle of the disc an inductive sensor with Namur
contact is mounted in order to detect the notches thus
creating an electrical signal. By means of a cable the sensor it is connected to a waterproof box mounted on the side of
the counter: this box contains a terminal block for connection to remote electrical totalizers (set up for Namur input
signals).
Intrinsic safety of the Namur sensor is II 2G Ex ia IIC T6.
If the EM 345 is connected to a remote totalizer, an Ex-d micro-switch can be mounted inside the mechanical counter:
each time the Veeder-Root counter is reset an electric signal is sent to reset the totalizer.
