METHODOLOGY

RESEARCH DESIGN

The Researcher used the Case Study in this study. It is used since the
researcher is trying to understand a complex phenomenon. Case study since
the study is used to generate an in-depth, multi-faceted understanding of a
complex issue in its real-life context (NCBI,2011). The researcher used this
for the reason that this study is still being investigated and why Grade 11
Technical Vocational Livelihood until now they experienced being strand-
shamed.
PARTICIPANTS/RESPONDENTS/SUBJECT
SAMPLING DESIGN

RESEARCH INSTRUMENT

This study used open-ended and researcher-made guide questions to have

in-depth understanding about the experiences of the chosen participants.
Observation and filed notes will be included.
DATA GATHERING PROCEDURE
This section outlines the step-by-step process of gathering the data needed.

To gather all the necessary data for this study the researcher requested the
approval of the research teacher and the supreme student government in Los
Amigos National High School.

The researchers clearly defined the purpose of the research in a friendly way,
so that the participants would not have doubts about the research.

Before the actual interview, the participants were first oriented to the main
purpose of the research or the understanding of the grade 11 student.

The researchers wrote down the responses of the interviewees and at the
same time, audio recordings were used to record the information.

TRUSTWORTHINESS/ETHICAL CONSIDERATION
