The creation’s inspiration stems from the vision of the Philippine mythology ibong adarma flying over the

flawless
turquoise seas embracing our archipelago. Despite its mighty ability to soar up high far beyond the clouds, it could still
manage to look down until the point of reflecting itself on the shiny waters. This display of both might & humility is the
call each of us heeds. As a nation, we are to have a steadfast spirit yet we also take a moment to journey within
ourselves. By doing so, we could be able to mirror the beauty that is within us, to mirror what is true and just and to
mirror the light which illuminates our path.

The Ibong Adarna is a mythological pulchritudinous bird that could change in several fascinating guises. Its enchanting
voice can enable complete healing to anyone who hears it. Some artists liken it to the mythological Phoenix where it
recurrently regenerates itself by arising amidst a spectacle of flames and candescence. This makes it a fitting symbol of
resilience, rising and rebirth.

The design aims to adapt the timeless architecture design, sustainability, climate and surroundings, To let the people
open their minds and let their imagination and self perspective to approach the building. This timeless design will lnot
only benefit the students but the the nation as well, inspire to be more and be more through reflecting the greatness
within the building and its audience itself.

A concept known to respond to the effects of tropical climate, that has a specific features brought on by the sun heat,
air flow, humidity and rainfall.

The Facade of the building has a kinetic airflow controller that let the air pass through the building but filter it as well, it
was inspired by the feather of the wings from Ibong Adarna.

A mythical and colorful bird known in philippine folklore and literature. The designer integraded and translated the
concept in context of the facade/site through poetic form of story telling

The comcept shows how the color of ibong adarna translate into vibrant atmosphere which improves the way artist
percieve and learn to this university.

The school 2050 will centralize the idea of redefining creative space that is highly concentrated in socializing spaces,
collaborative, and interactive spaces for the creative mind to explore and find solutions to the lack of social interaction
in today’s time.

The concept of school and concept of space is to create an interaction between people and people, and also an
interaction between people and environment. In the studio for each major, all students are being together in the same
space but in a different zone so they can help each other year by year or ask the instructor among them.

NOTE:

Striking and intruiging, there are a lot of building napo dito sa pilipinas specially po sa manila, honestly po whenever I
see high rise talaga na aamaze po ako, pero ang goal po ng structure namin is to be one of those buildings na babalik
balikan for example po ay “tara here sa place na to para madaanan natin yung building na to” or better yet “tara sa
building na to ang ganda kasi talaga nung labas, curious ako ano pa kaya sa loob non” something like this po. And naka
tulong po talaga yung color and form to get the attention po ng mga tao specially po nasa may road sya kaya po ganito
yung façade namin.
One of the Aim of the creation of this stucture is to Admittedly create the form that is striking and intriguing. The
Philippine mythology ibong adarma is a magnificent flying creature which serves as a reminder to each of us that we
have the power within us to reach for great things. It's ability to soar high into the clouds, yet still reflect its reflection on
the sea below, demonstrates both might & humility as well as our call each of us heeds as a nation: steadfast spirit yet
also journey within ourselves; mirroring beauty while reflecting light which illuminates our path." Despite this tale's
might and power, it still managed to look down upon itself by reflecting itself on its waters. This also reflects our very
own culture, where people are quick to point out faults and mistakes, yet know how to praise when appropriate. We
must all find the balance between both sides: being strong enough in ourselves while also understanding that there is
always room for improvement - wherever we may be at in life, whether it be personal or professional.

The Ibong Adarna is a mythological bird that can change its appearance to suit the needs of those around it. It has a
beautiful voice that can be used to heal or bring complete peace, love and joy to any who hear it. Some artists liken it to
the Phoenix where it regenerates itself by arising amidst a spectacle of flames and candescence. This makes it a fitting
symbol of resilience, rising and rebirth.
