1.0 INTRODUCTION
This specification details model-specific part numbers, documents, and drawings to successfully install the
AmSafe Seatbelt Airbag V23 System onto Part 23 non-562 qualified aircraft.
AmSafe Document E509500: Installation Instructions for AmSafe Seatbelt Airbag , V23 System, Two-Point,
Three-Point, and Four/Five-Point installed in Normal/Utility Category, Non-23.562 Certified Aircraft, is the
primary installation guide for the AmSafe Seatbelt Airbag V23 System. The installation instructions contained
herein do not take precedence over the installation criteria defined in E509500. With few exceptions, only
AmSafe-approved Service Center technicians may perform installation and maintenance of the AmSafe
Seatbelt Airbag V23 System components. Aircraft owner/operators limited maintenance tasks are defined in
the Operators Maintenance Guide, AmSafe Document E509687.
AmSafe Seatbelt Airbag V23 System components consist of:
Inflatable Lap Belt Assembly: Two-, Three-, Four/Five-Point Restraints

Electronics Module Assembly (EMA)
Inflator Assembly
Inflator Fitting: ACH Inflators only
Cable Interface Assembly
Inflator Interface Cable: Non-activation Circuit Restraint Types only

Certified Aircraft, is an ancillary document containing model-specific details such as part numbers, AmSafe pre-
designed and PMA’d bracket installation instructions (if available), test tool part numbers, and other applicable
documents.
This document will be updated as additional FAA-approved aircraft model are approved.
IMPORTANT NOTE CONCERNING BRACKETS: Any bracket designed or modified by the user must meet all
requirements of AmSafe Document E509500. Installation of PMA’d EMA and Inflator brackets into the aircraft
must be approved via Field Approval Form 337. Shoulder Harness brackets are installed by FAA Form 337 or
Minor Change Approval.

EMA BRACKET INSTALLATION:
Two brackets are available. EMA Bracket P/N 509496 is included in the installation kit. EMA Bracket P/N
509859-401 is a generic bracket that can be ordered if the 509496 bracket does not fit the aircraft.

MOVE OR RELOCATE ANY WIRING AS NECESSARY.
1. Remove entire rear panel of baggage compartment.

2. Place EMA Bracket into position, up against side wall and forward to bulkhead as shown (Station 161). If
installing Generic EMA Bracket (P/N 509859-401), bracket may be positioned further aft as required.

3. Verify bracket is level (to ground). Shim as required.

4. Mark and drills holes.

5. Rivet into position as shown in Figure A4 using the blind rivets contained in the kit (11 places).

EMA INSTALLATION ONTO EMA BRACKET

1. The bracket is designed to hold two EMAs. Use the holes closest to the sidewall to mount the EMA.
Refer to Figure A5.

2. Attach the EMA to the bracket using the 4 socket head cap screws and 4 washers included in the kit.
Torque the screws to 6+/- 2 LB-IN.

INFLATOR BRACKET KIT INSTALLATION

1. Remove front seats from aircraft.

2. Remove side panel (footplates, side panels, trim, etc.).
3. Butt the Inflator Bracket (p/n 509494 for pilot, 509493 for co-pilot) up against seatbelt anchor point and
mark rivet holes on channels (Station 93) as shown in Figure A6.
NOTE: for PA-34/44 Installation, inflator bracket will mount on web which is mounted to the rib and be
positioned slightly forward of the location shown for the PA-28.

NOTE: If forward channel is not present, the Inflator Vertical Attachment Bracket (p/n 509524 included
in kit) may be used or a suitable channel may also be fabricated. Inflator Vertical Attachment Bracket
should be attached to bare hull.

4. Drill holes and rivet into place using blind rivets provided in kit (7 places).
5. Repeat installation for opposite side.
6. Replace side panel (footplates, side panels, trim, etc.).
7. Carefully cut side panel (single straight cut is suggested or as required) allowing it to slide down behind
or on top of the Inflator Bracket.
INFLATOR ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION TO INFLATOR BRACKETS

1. Install the pilot and co-pilot side Inflator Assemblies onto their respective brackets oriented as shown in
Figure A7. Torque 4 socket head screws (2.5 “) and washers holding saddles and inflators to 25 - 30
in-lbs.

SHOULDER HARNESS BRACKET KIT INSTALLATION

If the aircraft was originally equipped with a 3-point restraint, it is not necessary to install the Shoulder Harness
Mounting Bracket. The AmSafe Seatbelt Airbag system is designed to fit OEM shoulder harness brackets.
Shoulder Harness Bracket P/N 509497-401

1. Remove upper side aft roof-structure panels (cloth, panels, trim, etc.) to attain sufficient access to install
Shoulder Harness Bracket, p/n 509495 (Station 112). Refer to Figure A8.
2. If necessary, drill out rivets on gusset (pilot side) to allow bracket installation.
NOTE: If equipped, triangular shaped gusset acting as anchor point (passenger side) for passenger assist
strap will need to be removed. The nutplate may be transferred to new Shoulder Harness Bracket for re-
installation of passenger assist strap.

3. Place bracket into forward lower corner (see Figure A8). Drill holes for forward window channel
attachment and cleco into place (5 blind rivets). Repeat action on curved vertical channel using 2 blind
rivets and upper bracket sides using 5 solid rivets (three edges of bracket total).
4. Rivet into place through cabin skin and blind through window channel and frame flange.
5. Repeat for opposite side.
6. Substantiate bracket installation appropriately on FAA Form 337, Minor Repair and Alteration.
7. Replace upper panels (cloth, panels, trim, etc.).
INERTIA REEL AND SEATBELT INSTALLATION

1. Locate mounting holes for Inertia Reel on Shoulder Harness Bracket through cloth. Locate and punch
through cloth for installation of Inertia Reel and passenger assist strap, if equipped.
NOTE: There are right hand and left hand seatbelts. Be sure to attach the correct seatbelt. Check the part
numbers carefully.
2. Attach the Inertia Reel to the bracket using the Socket Head Cap Screw, Washer and Bushing included
in the kit (refer to Drawing 509497 for attaching hardware order). Torque the screw to 40 - 50 in-lbs.
3. Connect the End-Release Buckles to existing seatbelt connection points using existing attachment
hardware.
4. Route the End-Release Buckle Cable to the Inflator using standard aircraft electrical cable installation
techniques.
5. Connect the Squib Connector to the Inflator. Insert the connector as shown in Figure A9. Press firmly
into place until it clicks.

6. Connect the Lapbelt to the existing seatbelt connection points using existing attachment hardware.
7. Route the gas hose to the inflator using the most direct route. The installed gas hose should not be
twisted. Cover any sharp edges that might abrade the gas hose.
8. Coat the gas hose connector threads with Loctite 242.
9. Remove the shipping cap from the inflator (see Figure A7).
10. Attach the gas hose to the inflator nozzle. Torque to 120+/-10 in-lbs.

CABLE INTERFACE ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

1. Install the Cable Interface Assembly into the aircraft. The Cable Interface Assembly connects the EMA
to the End-Release Buckles. Route and attach the cable to the aircraft using standard aircraft electrical
cable installation techniques.
2. Connect the Cable Interface Assembly to the End-Release Buckle Cable. Slide the connectors
together until they click. Lock the connectors by sliding the red tab into the locked position (Figure A10)

3. Remove white plastic mounting bar from Diagnostic Connector by sliding connector parts off of the bar
(Figure A11).

4. Attach bar onto EMA bracket side using pan head screws and an Allen wrench. Do not over tighten.

5. Slide the connector body onto mounting bar all the way to the end it clicks into place.
6. Slide diagnostic connector cap onto bar until it clicks into place on the connector body.
7. Connect the Cable Interface Assembly to the EMA pigtail connector. The connector is keyed. Press
connectors together until they click.
FINAL INSTALLATION AND FUNCTIONAL CHECK
1. Verify that all electrical connections have been made and that connectors are locked.
2. Perform a System Diagnostic Check as defined in document E509424: Instructions for Continued
Airworthiness or E508750: System Diagnostic Tool Operation Instructions, SDT P/N E508668-201.
3. Attach the Inflator Covers to the Inflator Brackets using socket head cap screws (2.75”) and washers (4
each cover). Attach snug.
4. Replace rear panel and trim of baggage compartment.

COMPONENT INSTALLATION LOCATION GUIDELINES:
Before starting the installation, temporarily place the components and cables in their intended
installation location. DO NOT CONNECT THE SYSTEM TOGETHER!
• Be sure the Cable Interface Assembly will reach the EMA and End-Release Buckle Cable.
• Be sure the Squib Connector on the End-Release Buckle Cable can connect to the Inflator.
• Be sure cables are out of the way of seat tracks.
• Be sure the airbag gas hose will reach the Inflator nozzle.
• Be sure the routing of the gas hose minimizes bends in the hose. Shift the location of the
Inflator and inflator mounting bracket to best accommodate the hose routing.
• Be sure the EMA bracket is installed in a rigid location that minimizes the affects of aircraft
vibration.
• Be sure the EMA and Inflator can be accessed for maintenance.
• Locate the Diagnostic Tool Connector at an easily accessible location.

2. If converting an existing 3-point restraint to the AmSafe Seatbelt Airbag 3-point restraint,
• Connect the Lapbelt to the existing seatbelt connection points using existing attachment
hardware.
• Connect the End-Release buckle to the existing seatbelt connection points using existing
attachment hardware.
• Connect the Shoulder Harness to the existing seatbelt connection points using existing
Modification to existing aircraft components may be necessary to properly install the seatbelt end-
fittings. See Figure B5 for an example.
3. Route the gas hose to the inflator mounting location using the most direct route. The installed
gas hose should not be twisted. Cover any sharp edges that might abrade the gas hose. Figure
B4 shows a typical hole cut through the floor for the gas hose.

electrical cable installation techniques. Use grommets on penetrations through floors and under
floor panels.

1. The EMA is typically located under the aircraft floor, close to under-floor cross members. The
EMA must be located in a position that allows the Cable Interface Assembly to connect to the
EMA pigtail and the End-Release Buckle cable.

2. The EMA bracket may be modified to ensure a rigid connection to the aircraft. Figure B10 shows

1. Install the Cable Interface Assembly into the aircraft. The Cable Interface Assembly connects the
EMA to the End-Release Buckles. Route and attach the cable to the aircraft using standard
aircraft electrical cable installation techniques.
2. Connect the Cable Interface Assembly to the End-Release Buckle Cable. Slide the connectors
together until they click. Lock the connectors by sliding the red tab into the locked position
(Figure B12)

COMPONENT INSTALLATION PREPARATION:
1. Remove the front four seats from the aircraft.

2. Remove the forward spar cover.
3. Remove the carpet and flooring directly behind the front spar.

SEATBELT INSTALLATION:
1. Connect the airbag lapbelt to the existing seatbelt connection points using existing attachment
hardware. The airbag is attached to the outboard side connection point.
2. Connect the End-Release buckle to the existing seatbelt connection points using existing
attachment hardware. The End-Release buckle is attached to the inboard side connection point.
3. Connect the Shoulder Harness to the existing seatbelt connection points using existing
INFLATOR INSTALLATION:
1. Pull up the seatback cover to expose the foam. Peel the outer foam cover up and cut a cavity in
the foam the length of the inflator, under the seatback lower support bat.

2. Route the hose clamps over the seatback lower support bar and through the foam.
3. Coat the inflator connector threads with Loctite 242 or equivalent.
4. Attach the gas hose to the inflator nozzle as shown in Figure C4. Torque to 60+/-5 in-lbs.

5. Locate the inflator on the seatback. THE INSTALLED GAS HOSE SHOULD NOT BE TWISTED.
Cover any sharp edges that might abrade the gas hose.
6. Secure the inflator to the hose clamps. Make sure there is some slack in the gas hose (with the
belt pulled tight there is tension only on the webbing, not the gas hose). Rotate the clamps so the
clamp screws are out of the way and allow the cover to lay flat (Figure C5). Tighten the hose
clamps until snug.

7. Connect the Fixed Length Extension Cable (P/N 508987-205) to the inflator. Press the male
squib connector on the cable onto the inflator female connector until it clicks into place. Secure
the cable to the inflator.
8. Substantiate the inflator installation appropriately on FAA Form 337, Major Repair and Alteration.

EMA INSTALLATION:
EMA Bracket P/N 510136-401 and associated attachment hardware is included in the installation kit.
EMA Bracket P/N 510136-401 consists of subassemblies 510136-201 and 510136-203.

1. The EMA is located on the right side of the aircraft, between fuselage stations 89.531 and 100.00.
Protect (sheath / wrap) any cables near the EMA mounting location (Figures C10 and C6).

4. Route the EMA Pigtail through the Cushioned Loop Clamp (P/N MS21919EDG10). Attach the
Cushioned Loop Clamp to the EMA Bracket with the 7/16” screw (P/N MS35206-244).
5. Mount the EMA and Bracket Assembly to the floor support using 8 CR3223-4-03 rivets.

1. Route and secure the Cable Interface Assembly into the aircraft. The Cable Interface Assembly
connects the EMA to the Fixed Length Extension Cable. Route and attach the cable to the
aircraft using standard aircraft electrical cable installation techniques. Use grommets as
necessary to protect the cable.

the bar (Figure BC11).

3. Using pan-head screws, attach the mounting bar to the underside of the access panel on the
Spar Cover behind the pilot seat. Do not over tighten the screws.

6. Connect the Cable Interface Assembly to the EMA pigtail connector. The connector is keyed.
Press connectors together until they click (Figure C12).

1. Replace the flooring in the aircraft
2. Drill holes in the Spar Cover to allow the Cable Interface Assembly connectors to pass through.
Replace the Spar Cover.
3. Install the seats.
4. Connect the Cable Interface Assembly to the Fixed Length Extension Cable. Slide the
connectors together until they click. Lock the connectors by sliding the red tab into the locked
position (Figure C13). The system is now operational.

this document, reference E509500, Installation Instructions for Two-Point, Three-Point, and

1. Remove the pilot seat and place on a secure workbench.
2. Remove the six seatback cover fasteners and cosmetic caps and save for later use.
3. Remove the seatback plastic cover to gain access to armrest support.
4. Apply Loctite 242, or equivalent, to the threaded connection of the inflator assembly (510184-
401) and fasten the 90° fitting assembly (510203-201). Torque fitting to 60 ± 5 inch-pounds.
5. Loosely position the 2 inflator brackets (510532-1) and fasteners (510600-E14C-08Z & 510700-
E14C-ZP) onto the armrest support structure approximately 4” apart with only the top fasteners,
2 of the 4, at this time.
6. Place 2 – 13/8” diameter ADEL clamps (MS21919WDG22) onto the inflator assembly. Orientate
in a manner so the clamps match the bracket spacing, the inflator positions in the middle of the
seat cavity and below the support, and the 90° fitting is directed toward the opening on the
bottom side of the seatback / opposite the armrest. Fasten the other fasters through the ADEL
clamps, but do not tighten.

7. Properly orientate the left-hand Packed Bag Sub-Assembly (510520-201-xxxx) in relation to the
seat. Route the hose around the seatback opposite the armrest and into the opening near the
inflator fitting. Follow the natural bend of the hose when routing into the seat.
8. Apply Loctite 242, or equivalent, to the hose threads and secure, but do not tighten, to the
fitting. The inflator brackets are not yet tight and can be moved along the armrest support to
make this connection easier. Confirm there are no twists in the hose and the torque fitting to
hose at 120 ±10 inch-pounds.
9. Attach the LRU/Inflator (508978-219) cable to the inflator electrical connection. When
connecting, make sure the connector is straight and aligned with the mating keys. Adding force
to this connector when not straight can cause the mating inflator pins to bend. Add force until
you hear a click and the connector is locked.
10. Realign the fitting to the opening on the seatback and tighten the brackets.

11. Loop the cable to the armrest support and attached with a nylon tie (MS3367-1-0) to create a
strain relief for the inflator electrical connection.

DETACHABLE SHOULDER HARNESS INSTALLATION:
1. Remove and/or loosen all necessary interior panels to access the pilot and co-pilot shoulder
restraint inertia reels. Keep all hardware for interior reassembly.

2. Remove existing pilot and co-pilot Inertial Reel Assemblies (510533-401), or equivalent. Save
the hardware for installing the new inertial reel assemblies.
3. Install the new pilot and co-pilot inertial reel assemblies in the same orientation as the removed
components. Utilize existing hardware and torque per aircraft specifications.
4. Replace all interior panels per aircraft specifications.

ELECTRONIC MODULE ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION:
1. Partially remove the carpet from the pilot seat position and aircraft center section. Complete
removal of carpet is not necessary.

2. Remove center floor section. Save fasteners for reinstallation of floor section.
3. Position EMA Bracket Assembly (510511-201) directly between the seat track of the pilot
seat position and at Fuselage Station 139.80. Bracket must be parallel to each of the pilot seat
tracks.

4. Mark and drill 8 appropriate sized holes for NAS1919B05-02 Blind Rivets. Use care to
assure metal shavings are contained and collected when drilling holes.
NOTE: Utilize a drill stop and set at 1/8” depth to not damage aircraft cables and tubing
underneath aircraft floor. Visually confirm clearance prior to drilling holes.
5. Fasten bracket to floor with the 8 Blind Rivets.
6. Replace center floor section and replace carpet.

7. Carefully position carpet on the pilot seat position. Mark and cut carpet, approximately 2½” x
6”, to allow the bracket to pass through the carpet when replaced.
8. Replace pilot seat position carpet.
9. Attach the Electronics Module Assembly, EMA, (508358-421) with the 4 enclosed 10-32 x
2¼” Machine Screw (505098-6020) and #10 x 0.032” Washers (NAS1149F0322P). Torque
each of the fasteners 6±2 in-lbs. Assure the EMA is properly positioned; note the “Aircraft
Forward” label.
NOTE: When securing the EMA, make note of the torque value to thread each of the 10-32 x
2¼” Machine Screws into the 10-32 Self-locking Nut Plates (MS21061L3) contained on the
bracket (510511-201). Torque each of the fasteners the noted value plus 6±2 in-lbs.

INFLATABLE LAP BELT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION:
The Packed Bag Sub-Assembly is already fasted to each of the seats by way of the hose/inflator
connection. Reference steps 7 and 8 of the Inflator Installation section.
1. Remove existing pilot restraint system; lap belt and buckle. Keep all fasteners for future use.
2. Carefully position and install the pilot seat into the aircraft per aircraft specification.
3. Fasten left-hand Packed Bag Sub-Assembly (510520-201-xxxx) and corresponding Buckle Half
Assembly (510523-201-xxxx) with the fasteners from step 1 per aircraft specifications.
4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for the co-pilot seat position.

3. Complete the necessary EMA / LRU connections; P2, P3, and P4. Confirm each of the
connections are secured and locked. Each of the LRU connectors, P3 and P4, has a duel
locking feature. Slide the red button forward to enable the secondary lock. Route and attach
the cable to the aircraft using standard aircraft electrical cable installation techniques. The co-
pilot connector, P3, let can be stowed underneath the carpet between the floor and spar.
4. Tie wrap and secure the cable to provide a strain relief to the cable assembly and allow seat
movement.

Review the proposed installation locations of each of the inflatable restraint components. Confirm proper
clearance is available for each of the components. In the event that components can not be installed per
this document, reference E509500, Installation Instructions for Two-Point, Three-Point, and
Four/Five-Point AMSAFE AVIAITON INFLATABLE RESTRAINT (AAIR) V23 SYSTEM installed in
Normal/Utility Category Non-23.562 Certified Aircraft. Alternate mounting locations for each of the
components are allowed when using E509500 as guidance.

1. Remove the pilot seat and place on a secure workbench.
2. If present remove seat dressing cover.
3. Apply Loctite 242, or equivalent, to the threaded connection of the inflator assembly (510184-
401) and fasten the 45° fitting assembly (510355-201). Torque fitting to 60 ± 5 inch-pounds.
4. Loosely position the 2 Adel clamps (MS21919WDG21, MS21919WDG18) to inflator and 2 Adel
clamps to seat tubes. (MS21919WDG8).
5. Position inflator so that the fitting is to the aft and outboard on the seat. Secure Adel clamps on
the seat to the Adel clamps on the inflator but do not tighten.

6. Properly orientate the left-hand Packed Bag Sub-Assembly (71xx-1-011-xxxx) in relation to the
seat. Route the hose to the inflator fitting. Follow the natural bend of the hose when routing into
the seat.
7. Apply Loctite 242, or equivalent, to the hose threads and secure, but do not tighten, to the fitting.
The inflator brackets are not yet tight and can be moved along the seat tubes support to make
this connection easier. Confirm there are no twists in the hose and the torque fitting to hose at
120 ±10 inch-pounds.
8. Align the fitting/inflator to the opening on the seatback and tighten the Adel clamps.
9. Replace seat dressing cover if installed.

DETACHABLE SHOULDER HARNESS INSTALLATION:
1. Remove and/or loosen interior panels if necessary to access the pilot and co-pilot shoulder
restraint anchor point. Keep all hardware for interior reassembly.

2. Remove existing pilot and co-pilot shoulder harness assemblies if equipped. Save the hardware
for installing the new manual detachable shoulder harness or Inertia Reel.
3. Install the new pilot and co-pilot manual detachable shoulder harness or inertial reel assemblies
in the same orientation as the removed components. Utilize existing hardware and torque per
aircraft specifications.
4. Replace all interior panels if necessary to gain access, per aircraft specifications.

ELECTRONIC MODULE ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION:
1. Locate the equipment shelf behind the luggage compartment. There may be an access panel that
would have to be removed to gain access.

2. Place EMA Bracket (511536-203) squarely on shelf. Mark and drill mounting holes through EMA
bracket and shelf. Note: EMA Bracket may also be mounted on the underside of the shelf if need
be. Refer to Installation Drawing 511832 for orientation/location.
3. Attach EMA Bracket with supplied socket head capscrews and locking nuts. EMA must be
mounted within +/-3 degrees along the longitudinal axis of the aircraft in both pitch and yaw.
4. Attach the Electronics Module Assembly, EMA, (508358-421) with the 4 enclosed 10-32 x 2¼”
socket head capscrews (505098-6020) and #10 x 0.032” Washers (NAS1149F0322P). Torque
each of the fasteners 6±2 in-lbs. Assure the EMA is properly positioned; note the “Aircraft
Forward” label.
NOTE: When securing the EMA, make note of the torque value to thread each of the 10-32 x
2¼” Machine Screws into the 10-32 Self-locking Nut Plates (MS21061L3) contained on the
bracket (510511-201). Torque each of the fasteners the noted value plus 6±2 in-lbs.

INFLATABLE LAP BELT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION:
The Packed Bag Sub-Assembly is already fasted to each of the seats by way of the hose/inflator
connection. Reference steps 7 and 8 of the Inflator Installation section.
1. Remove existing pilot restraint system; lap belt and buckle. Keep all fasteners for future use.
2. Carefully position and install the pilot seat into the aircraft per aircraft maintenance manual.
3. Fasten left-hand Packed Bag Sub-Assembly (71xx-1-011-xxxx) and corresponding Buckle Half
Assembly with the fasteners from step 1 per aircraft maintenance manual.
4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for the co-pilot seat position.

CABLE ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION:
1. Position the pilot and co-pilot seats to the full forward position.
2. Layout the Double Interface Cable (509976-345) in the aircraft, behind the pilot / co-pilot seats.
Note: Refer to Document E509424 for system connectivity.
a. P1 – Diagnostics connector.
b. P2 – Electronic Module Assembly connector.
c. P3 – Co-pilot LRU connector.
d. P4 – Pilot LRU connector.

3. From under the rear bench seat pass the P3 and P4 LRU connector under and up in front of spar
and the EMA connector back beyond the luggage compartment and up to EMA.
4. Rout the shorter of the cable legs up (below carpet) between the seat tracks of the closest seat.
5. Measuring up 12” between the seat tracks cut the carpet 1” to allow the LRU connector to pass
through.
6. Rout the longer cable leg to the next seat and repeat step 5.

7. Rout LRU cable from Buckle Assembly inboard to the underside for the seat and secure. Be sure
to allow for full seat travel.
8. Attach squib connector on Buckle Assembly to the Inflator. All connectors are keyed and only go
in one orientation.
9. Complete the necessary EMA / LRU connections; P2, P3, and P4. Confirm each of the
connections are secured and locked. Each of the LRU connectors, P3 and P4, has a duel locking
feature. Slide the red button forward to enable the secondary lock. Route and attach the cable to
the aircraft using standard aircraft electrical cable installation techniques. The co-pilot connector,
P3, let can be stowed underneath the carpet between the floor and spar.
10. Tie wrap and secure the Cable Interface Assembly to provide a strain relief to the Cable Interface
Assembly and allow seat movement.
