Inför prov kartor

Inför provet bör du känna till

● Hur jordens gradnät fungerar (Hur man tar ut koordinater).
● Vad en skala på en karta är och hur den fungerar.
● Väderstrecken både generellt och de olika indelningarna av jordklotet.
● Vad de olika världsdelarna heter samt var de ligger på en karta.
● Att kunna använda dig av topografiska och tematiska kartor för att hitta
information.
● Olika begrepp kopplat till ämnet.

Du kan förbereda dig genom att

● Gå igenom dina anteckningar från tidigare lektioner/genomgångar.
● Läsa om kartografi och namngeografi i läroboken.
● Fortsätt med de olika kartövningar vi har gjort under lektionstid.
● Öva genom Seterra eller liknande digitala övningar (Obs du kan ej bara
spela detta och vara förberedd).
 Test maps

Before the test you should know

● How the Earth's grid/graticules works (How to draw coordinates).
● What a scale on a map is and how it works.
● Cardinal directions both in general and the different divisions of the
globe.
● What the different continents are called and where they are located on a
map.
● To be able to use topographic and thematic maps to find information.
● Different key words/concepts linked to the topic.

You can prepare yourself by

● Review your notes from previous lessons.
● Read about cartography and name geography in the textbook.
● Continue with the various map exercises we have done during the lesson
period.
● Practice through Seterra or similar digital exercises (Note you can't just
play this and be prepared).
