PROJECT MANAGE QUALITY

1. NARRATIVE REPORT:

In Week 2 of my project managing quality, one of the risks I listed on

project 1 happen on this week. I visit my hometown to attend gathering. In this

week before I moved to another topic,I started my review session by solving the

example problem provided during the last meeting by Engineer Cyrille Dela Cruz

in the topic of Properties of Fluids. The second topic I review in Week 3 of my

weekly schedule for advanced review for the topic was the principles of

hydrostatics. I watch again a lecture video from my previous professor on

hydraulics that discussed the principles of hydrostatics.

I focused my learning efforts on a targeted approach to comprehending

the concepts and formulas in the topics of the principles of hydrostatics.

Following this, I applied my understanding in a practical application by watching

the examples that demonstrated or solve problem with techniques and

computation methods for determining the pressure exerted by liquids or gases in

the body or surface.

after the lecture and problem-solving videos, I tested my knowledge by

deciding to solve 30 problems with open notes. Afterward, I repeated the same

set of problems without open notes. Lastly, I challenged myself by solving the

problems without open notes and within a limited time. I got a score of 27, 28, 28

in the test that I do.

2. ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT:

Solving example problems is an effective way to apply theoretical

knowledge. It's good practice that worked through examples related to the

formulas I learned.

My method of solving problems in stages, starting with open notes, and

gradually moving to closed notes with limited time, showcases a systematic and

thorough approach to mastering the material.

Achieving 27, 28, and 28 correct answers out of 30 problems in

successive attempts demonstrates consistent improvement, indicating a strong

grasp of the material.

3. CALCULATION RESULT OF YOUR SELF-ASSESSMENT

a. INITIAL ATTEMPT WITH OPEN NOTES:

• Number of questions attempted: 30

• Correct answers: 27

• Percentage correct: (27 / 30) * 100 = 90%

b. SECOND ATTEMPT WITHOUT OPEN NOTES:

• Number of questions attempted: 30 (assuming it's the same set)

• Correct answers: 28

• Percentage correct: (28 / 30) * 100 = 93.33%

c. WITHOUT OPEN NOTES AND WITH TIME LIMIT:

• Number of questions attempted: 30

• Correct answers: 28

• Percentage correct: (28 / 30) * 100 = 93.33%

Now, let's compare the results with the passing percentage of 75%:

• Initial attempt: 66.67% (Above passing)

• Second attempt: 83.33% (Above passing)

• Challenge attempt: 86.66% (Above passing)

It appears that my performance improved significantly, especially in

the second and third attempts, surpassing the passing percentage of 75%.

This suggests that my skills and understanding of the material have

progressed over the testing sessions.

OBJECTIVE FOR DOCUMENTATIONS

e. LESSONS LEARNED

1. REVIEW INCORRECT ANSWERS: While scoring well, it might be

beneficial to review the problems where you didn't get the correct

answer to understand the areas that need additional focus.

2. PRIORITIZATION AND TIME MANAGEMENT: Prioritize tasks and

manage time effectively, giving importance to your study and review

session first.

3. Stick to what you have plan in the week you set.
