PLX160 Error 04

1.What does Error 04 mean

There is no feedback signal (GOOD SIGNAL)for CPU board when

you enter into the fluoroscopy mode .

2. How to check:

① Error 4 appears when you enter into the fluoroscopy mode.

Short circuit the two pins on X2 terminal (put two cables to one hole

) first. If alarm still occurred ,check the input power(DC) on J701

/J801/J102 terminal of X -Ray Management Board (S360A-584P) .

If the voltage is normal ,change the board . if alarm disappeared

with two pins short circuit ,check by following steps :

A: Check the voltage of X1 (24V)terminal ,it is supposed to be+

24V(DC)

B: If you can get input power , But LED1 is off , please check by
following steps:

1. Check FUSE 1(3A).

2. Measure the voltage between pin 3 and pin 4 of X5

terminal(on/off control) ,it is supposed to be about +5V when you

enter into the fluoroscopy mode

3 .Check the voltage of D1 ,it is supposed to be about +24V when

you enter into the fluoroscopy mode

4. Check the resistance of D1 when you turn off the machine ,it is

supposed to be about 1K Ohm (the resistance of coil)

C: If LED1 is on but LED 3 is off ,please check by following steps:

1. Measure the voltage between pin 3 and pin 5 of X5

terminal（FG/FP control） ,it is supposed to be about 0V when you

enter into the fluoroscopy mode

2. Check the voltage of D2 ,it is supposed to be about +24V when

you enter into the fluoroscopy mode

3.Check the resistance of D2 when you turn off the machine ,it is

supposed to be about 1K Ohm.

D: If LED1 and LED 3 are on but LED 2 is off ,please check by

following steps:

1.Measure the voltage of R55,it is supposed to be above +0.15V

when you enter into the fluoroscopy mode

2.Measure the voltage of pin A and pin C of X3 terminal ,it is

supposed to be within AC30V when you enter into the fluoroscopy

mode

3.Check the voltage of D3 ,it is supposed to be about +24V when

you enter into the fluoroscopy mode

4.Check the resistance of D3 when you turn off the machine ,it is

supposed to be about 1K Ohm.

5.Check the resistance of R55 when you turn off the machine ,it is

supposed to be about 1 Ohm.

6.Check the resistance between A and C when you turn off the

machine ,it is supposed to be within 1 Ohm.

② Error 4 appears while you are exposing.

A:Check the filament current first refer to chapter Error 03-1

B:Short circuit the two pins on X2 terminal , if alarm still ,check the

board (S360A-584P)

C:Use oscilloscope to observe the input signal on X1 terminal while

exposing

D:Check ground protection of machine
