II. RATIONALE
In order to produce holistically-developed learners, San Jose National High School should sharpen not just
students’ academic competence but also their co-curricular activities. One way to do this is to let students enjoy
and participate into various activities that will nurture and open their young minds. This program provides
athletic activities, literary and musical competitions that will showcase students’ talents and uniqueness.
Apart from letting students engage in different events, this activity will teach the learners to value
sportsmanship, oneness, and cooperation by actively socializing with fellow students. Learners are expected to
have boost their self-confidence while making their bodies fit and healthy.
III. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the High School Day celebration, the participants will be able to:
Learn more techniques and strategies in their respective events.
Instill in their hearts and minds the significance of sports into one’s physical, mental, social, emotional
and spiritual well-being.
Actively participate and take part to any different activities to be held.
Value the importance of sportsmanship and camaraderie.
IV. METHODOLOGY
The two-day activity will be intended for the championship of the ball games (April 18, 2024) at San Jose NHS
and for the program of the celebration (April 19, 2024) at San Jose Mini-Gymnasium.
The committee on this program will send an original copy of this activity design to the School Principal and
Schools Division Superintendent for approval.
