THE CORRELATION BETWEEN STUDENTS’ ACADEMIC SELF-EFFICACY AND THEIR LEARNING

PARTICIPATION IN SPEAKING CLASS

Theory :

Based on Bandura (1986:391, 1997:3) self efficacy refers to the belief about capabilities to perform
behavior at some level and is said self efficacy also a measure of control over individual‘s thought,
feelings and actions.
