Research Proposal
Title
Remedies and Challenges of the slow learner children in Pakistan
The above mentioned title is my proposed title it can be changed according to the university requirements
and Board of Studies meeting. This proposed topic will be my area of interest in my PhD research work.
Overview
Research Questions
How can define the criteria of students for special classes through psychological measurement?
• How can we assess the student capability?
• Wat are the instruments that will be used to study the students?
• What is the permanent solution of problems faced by the students?
• How can we console their parent for improvements?
• What are the treatment will be provided to the students?
• How can we compare the normal and slow learner students?
These question will be answered in my research project. This is the only area in which the researcher
shows little interest and do not like to work with them that’s why there are minimum researcher are
available on thin area. Minimum researchers showed interest in this specific area to explore the
psychological consequences. Minimum researcher explores the psychological causes of the children that
create hindrance in their field and to work properly. We have seen that many of the students perform
better but are slow in their study. It may be cause of teaching method, parent pressure and other
environmental factors. These all questions will be answered in this research.
Procedure
Different procedures will be adopting to archive that goal. First it will be investigated that whether the
scale/instruments are available on this topic and related variables. If the variables are available then
permission will be granted from the authors. If the scales are not available new scale will be developed for
conducting that research
Scale Development
Scale will be developed for the execution of the study. The scale development process consists of both
quantitative and qualitative research methods in qualitative methods, interviews and discussions will be
conducted for the item pool generation. Following the item pool generation expert opinion should be
granted for the item validation. The final developed scale will be used for the collection of the data. The
data will be analyzed by using SPSS latest version. After the validation of the final scale, it will be used for
the data collection.
Instruments used for the study
The developed scale will be used with other instruments for the collection of the data in the second phase.
The data will be collected from the slow learner students and normal students. After collection of the data,
it will be analyzed by using SPSS with advanced statistical techniques.
Data Collection
The data will be collected from the slow learner’s children and normal children from different districts of
the Punjab. Data will be collected by using purposive sampling technique. The data will be collected from
the normal students for comparison. Data will be collected from the parents of the students to explore
their financial level and asking about the behavior of the children in daily life. The teacher will also be
interviewed for the performance of children to make the better treatment for slow learners
Treatment & Management Plan
After concluding and exploring the issues faced by the children the treatment plan will be designed to
control that problems. Psychological techniques will be added in designing the treatment plan. The
treatment plan will consist of different technique and assignments for the students and counseling session
for the parents and instructions how to control such students.
Rationale of the Research
The research will be used differently and hopefully, it will fulfill the objective of the slow learner students

It will help to make policies and manage syllabus and classes for educational institutes
It will help to parents to manage the students
It will also help to improve the performance of the children
It will also help the teacher to give their best to make the children on the way to progress
