Quest 155: A Warm Cloak

Activation requirements: Hilde must be 5 days pregnant, speak to Frida.

Location: Frida’s place

When the player speaks to Frida, she will ask you to accompany her to the Giant’s camp. Here
Danghdangh will announce that Hilde is pregnant and will invite you on a hunt to honor “his” child. The
region in which they hunt can be quite cold, so you should bring a warm cloak. Get Edgar to make you a
cloak, back in the village. He will require 2 bear pelts and 100 coins. You also need to bring at least one
(more is always better) potion of Phallus Giganticus. Speak to Frida or Hilde once you are ready to hunt.

Quest 156: The Hunt

Activation requirements: Must have completed quest 155 “A Warm Cloak”.

Location: The Hunting Grounds

You are tasked to accompany Frida and Birgitte to hunt in the pass to the west (left). Follow the pass
until you encounter a Snowdeer and defeat it.

Quest 157: A Bath

Activation requirements: Must have completed quest 156 “The Hunt”.

Location: The Hunting Grounds

When you wake up the morning after the hunt, Frida asks you to take a bath. There is a hot spring to the
east (right) of the lodge. Get yourself a nice refreshing bath. Return to the lodge when you hear the
horn.

Quest 158: A Large Damsel in Distress

Activation requirements: Must have completed quest 157 “A Bath”.

Location: The Hunting Grounds

Upon returning from your bath, you find the lodge attacked by mountain goblins. Tankh is wounded and
asks you to find Danghdangh and Birgitte. You can find a slain Danghdangh north of the lodge. Birgitte
has been abducted by the goblins! Travel north until you find the gate of their fortress. It is barred, so
you need to find another way in. Follow the stream to the east (right) until you discover a cave entrance
on the other side. Cross the river and enter the cave. You will be leaving your armor behind. You are
freezing from crossing such a cold body of water. Warm yourself at a campfire.

You encounter Birgitte slightly further in, but your escape is blocked by hordes of goblins. Barricade the
door by picking up two boulders and one log in the room you encountered Birgitte. Then fight your way
out the other way.

Return to the lodge before you freeze to death.

Quest 159: The Funeral

Activation requirements: Must have completed quest 158 “A Large Damsel in Distress”.

Location: The Giant’s Camp

If you speak to Hilde after returning from the hunting grounds, she tells you the giants are ready to
choose a new Chief. She intends to use Danghdangh’s funeral to convince the others she can
communicate with the All Father/Odin. But she needs an outfit to go with her ruse, and some mead. She
wants a raven themed outfit. Edgar (the tailor in town) has an outfit of the correct size, but it needs
modification to fit the task. Find Edgar 30 feathers. Ravens can be found in the graveyard and near the
Vampire Castle. Grab them before they notice you. Ravens will respawn every time you enter the map.

Once you have purchased the modified outfit, return to Hilde. Give the mead to the other giants will she
gets dressed. Visit Hilde in her tent after the funeral.

Quest 160: Forgiveness?

Activation requirements: Must have completed quest 158 “A Large Damsel in Distress”.

Location: Frida’s place

If you speak to Frida after returning from the hunting grounds, she is still quite cross with you. You will
need to get back in her good graces before she will forgive you. Speak to Hilde for help. Once the funeral
is done, Hilde will suggest inviting Frida on a date at the lodge. You will need to bring 3 bushels of
vegetables and one mead. Potions of Phallus Giganticus are also recommended. Meet the girls at the
lodge and give them the goods. They will then instruct you to hunt for meat, they need 3 steaks. Not all
animals are equal, though. Remember those Snowdeer balls? These may increase your chances of a
successful date. Give these to the girls together with the steaks. Snowdeer have a chance of spawning
each day, there are two areas where a Snowdeer can spawn. In the south-west, where you encountered
it for the first time, or in the north-east by the river.
