ADMISSION NOTICE FOR TWO YEARS “ADVANCED CERTIFICATE COURSE IN BOOT, SHOE & LEATHER

GOODS MANUFACTURE”
[ 2017 ]
Applications are invited for admission to Two Years “Advanced Certificate Course in Boot, Shoe &
Leather Goods Manufacture” in Govt. College of Engineering and Leather Technology for the session
2017-2018. The applicant must be an Indian citizen who has passed Madhyamik Examination from the
West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent with English & Mathematics amongst the
other subjects. The candidates who have passed Junior Diploma in Engineering from the State Council
of Engineering & Technical Education may also apply. The candidate must not be over 21 years of age
on the 1’st. January 2017 which may be relaxed up to 3 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled
Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST). The intake capacity of the candidates for the course is Twenty
(20) out of which 22% is reserved for SC and 6% is reserved for ST respectively. Application on a
plain paper giving the following particulars* or as per format given below may be submitted to the
Officer –In -Charge, Government College of Engineering & Leather Technology, LB-Block,
Sector –III, Salt Lake, Kolkata -700098 within 3rd July 2017.

NOTE : (i) The candidates not satisfying the age or qualification need not apply;
(ii) Proof of Age, Qualification and Caste (whereof necessary) should be submitted along with the
application; (iii) The application should be accompanied with a self addressed envelop (10” X 4½ ”
[approx.]) with a Rs.6/= postal stamp affixed on it. Application not containing required information
and relevant documents shall be summarily rejected.
