Preconditions for Accepting a Review Engagement

(b) Obtain the agreement of management that it acknowledges and
understands its responsibilities:
● For the preparation of the financial statements in accordance
with the applicable financial reporting framework, including their

Emphasis of Matter and Other Matter Paragraphs
The practitioner may consider it necessary to draw users’ attention to a
matter presented or disclosed in the financial statements that, in the
practitioner’s judgment, is of such importance that it is fundamental to
users’ understanding of the financial statements, then he shall include
immediately after conclusion an Emphasis of Matter paragraph in the

report, provided the practitioner he has obtained sufficient appropriate
evidence that the matter is not likely to be materially misstated .

If it necessary to communicate a matter other than those that are
presented or disclosed in the financial statements then shall do so in a
paragraph with heading “Other Matter”.

A practitioner may be requested to address other reporting

Departure from the Applicable Financial Reporting Framework
The auditor should express qualified or adverse conclusion when a

If the auditor has issued a modified review report and management
issues the interim financial information without including the modified

It is presumed that the users of the interim financial information will

case with listed entities.
