CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION

1.1 BACKGROUND

Education is an effort that is applied and carried out throughout the world to create superior
human resources or generations. Education has been applied with several levels or levels for
humans. Since turning 5 years old, children take education as kindergarten or kindergarten,
then when they have graduated from kindergarten, children will go to elementary school, then
take junior high school, then high school, and the last level is college. However, not all
children can feel the level or level of education due to various inhibiting factors, ranging from
lack of funds for education costs, the inability of children to receive lessons so they have to
drop out of school, and many other factors. Education is closely related to unemployment.
From year to year, unemployment has always been a macroeconomic problem in Indonesia,
especially on the island of Bali. Bali Province is famous for its tourism sector that attracts
foreign tourists from various continents. This causes various tourist attractions in Bali to
require competent or qualified labor in the fields needed so that all Balinese people certainly
try to get these job vacancies. However, the number of job vacancies available still does not
change the situation or condition of the number of unemployed in Bali Province.
