Lab Analysis
The assessment was carried out in the Chemistry Lab at Herbert Morrison Technical High
School.Within the laboratory premises, one can find both a single-door and double-door
entrance, offering multiple access points and a single-door that locked at the back. The lab is
equipped with six functional tables, complemented by four wooden cabinets, three wooden
drawers,a single garbage bin and a wood and glass fume hood. Additionally, two sinks, each
furnished with hand soap, are conveniently positioned at every table except the foremost one,
which features a single sink. Noteworthy apparatus such as bunsen burners, tripod stands, retort
stands, rubber tubing, and assorted bottles are stored within the lab cabinets and on a separate
counter in the storage and preparation room. Safety measures are evident throughout the space,
with an evacuation plan prominently displayed and signage prohibiting eating or drinking.
Serving a dual purpose, the lab also features a whiteboard for instructional use, reflecting its role
