DS-301 Liquid Detection Disadvantage Issue

Along my work with this instrument and by comparing

with other instruments for many companies, i found the DS-301
liquid detection system is the only disadvantage. it is more different and more complicated.
in my think, this due to depending on many factors; liquid volume,
height of liquid, speed of motor up/down movements and type of
sample container(cup /tube). these multiple factors make the system
more complicated, needs more frequently adjustment and needs a high level service
onsite training for FS Engineer to handle with it
. but commonly, it
should be non-adjustable system when it use the capacitance changes technique.
in addition, the non-clot detection feature, make this disadvantage is more negatively effect the
performance especially when sample tube is used.
we spent more time to get very satisfied DS-301 performance. 90% of this time spent
for work on liquid detection system.
Honesty, i think this long wasted time due to 1- complicated Liquid detection system.
2- there is no trained Engineer.
