Crafting a comprehensive literature review on palliative care is a challenging endeavor that demands

meticulous research, critical analysis, and proficient writing skills. This process involves thoroughly
reviewing existing scholarly works, identifying key themes, synthesizing relevant information, and
presenting coherent arguments supported by evidence from various sources.

The complexity of writing a literature review on palliative care lies in the vastness and
interdisciplinary nature of the topic. Palliative care encompasses medical, psychological, social, and
ethical dimensions, requiring a thorough understanding of diverse academic disciplines such as
medicine, nursing, psychology, sociology, ethics, and public health. Moreover, the evolving nature of
palliative care practices, advancements in medical technologies, and shifting societal attitudes
towards end-of-life care add further layers of complexity to the literature.

In addition to the sheer volume of literature available, navigating through multiple databases,
journals, books, and grey literature can be overwhelming for researchers. Furthermore, ensuring the
reliability, relevance, and currency of sources adds another layer of difficulty to the process.
