Stages of teamwork for an educational project

Teamwork is crucial, understood under the collaboration and cohesiveness for enabling a

group of individuals to create synergy and achieve the desired level of effectiveness making it

possible to reach our personal and group goals. The lack of cohesive information management

strategies has posed difficulties for teams in developing strong team processes such as

communication, scientific coordination, and project management (Kelly, Chladek & Rolland,

2023).

Taking into consideration the mentioned above, according to Chun-Nan & Roan, to objectively

identify each development stage of virtual teams, there are several quantitative indicators that

can be used. These include the level of communication and collaboration among team members,

the frequency and quality of deliverables, the level of engagement and participation in team

meetings, and the overall level of team productivity (Chun-Nan & Roan, 2022). That’s why

selecting the team and storming the ideas for the first step will be crucial to start our project in a

successful way.

By tracking these indicators over time, our goal as team leaders is to get a better understanding

of our team's strengths and weaknesses. and focus on put the piece s in the best way possible to

maximize the synergy in the group, norming. It is also important to define each member’s

responsibilities and group sub objectives, the purpose of team formation is to achieve a certain

and challenging target (Lee, Wang & Zang, 2020).

Even once it is all well-defined these factors, we have to face the fourth stage, performing, we

must understand that even if everyone is set up, they are not per se enough to determine high-

performance outcomes (Dahms & Kingkaew 2019). That is because those assets need to fit in the

subsidiary specific environment to get the maximum performance possible for our interests.

Finally, we will need to terminate the labor and analyze the results, provide real and useful

feedback to our team members listening to the feedback they got for us as well, to do better in

the upcoming projects.
