TEMPLETONE is a software sampler instrument created for the best playback of ThaLoops one-
shot samples and multi-layer instruments using your favorite MIDI controller in your Digital Audio
Workstation (further DAW) - for example Presonus Studio One, Ableton, Logic Pro X, Fruity Loops
etc.

The collection of sounds includes one-shot samples (ethnic instruments, percussion and vocals),
chopped drum loops and multi-layer key/pad samples. Create catchy riffs, groovy rhythmic drum
loops, vocal adlibs or background chord progressions, all available in one plugin.

How to play.
After installing TEMPLETONE plugin, it will be available for loading via the list of your VST or AU
instruments in your DAW. The player is triggered with MIDI. TEMPLETONE features 6 main
instrument groups (106 presets total):

1. 808. Bass and kick presets programmed across 5 octaves, beginning with C-1. Glide option is
available. Choose “mono” or “legato” to enable the glide knob.
2. Drums. Tempo labeled, chopped MPC style drum loop samples. Programmed across 12
pads, beginning with C-1.
3. Ethnic Shots. One-shot, key labeled world instrument presets. Programmed across 12 pads,
beginning with C-1. Glide option is available. Choose “mono” or “legato” to enable the glide
knob.
4. Ethnic Voices. One-shot, key labeled vocal chops instrument presets. Programmed across 12
pads, beginning with C-1. Glide option is available. Choose “mono” or “legato” to enable the
glide knob.
5. Keys. Multi-layer keys and pads instrument presets. Programmed across 5 octaves,
beginning with C-1. Features “Stress” and “Enrich” knobs. “Stress” ads saturation, “Enrich”
ads width to the main instrument sound. Use one of the extra layers to create your own pads
or keys. Each layer has an option for an individual audio track output. That makes it easy to
apply 3rd party plugins to the sound. (More info on layer activation in the next section.)
Percussion. Hybrid percussion instrument, featuring both one-shot samples and multi-layer
(more info on layer activation in the next section) samples to play melodic themes. One-shot
samples are programmed across 12 pads, beginning with C-1. Melodic percussion begins
with C-2.

How to activate the multi-layers.

The multi-layers section at the bottom of the TEMPLETONE GUI. To activate one of the layers on
the left (sine, square, triangle, saw, excite, radio, breath) just click on the icon. In order to activate
the layers on the right (fire, water, earth, birds, vinyl or city icons), treat them as gain faders. See
the instruction video provided in the “media” folder.

Each layer is provided with an attack, decay, sustain, release, pan, gain and output channel option
in order to tweak the characteristics of the layer sound.

Sending the layer to a separate output channel is a great way to take the preset sound further by
using your favorite plugins and tweak the sound to the style of your productions with your favorite
3rd party tools.
FX and output knobs
