Importance of Fluid Mechanics

▪ fluid mechanics is integral to various aspects of Electrical Engineering,

ranging from the cooling of electronic components to the design of

hydropower systems. The application of fluid mechanics principles

enhances the efficiency, safety, and reliability of electrical systems and

devices.
COURSE OUTCOMES

▪ After completing this course, the student must able to:


1. Identify the different fluid properties and the methods of measuring them.
2. Apply the principles of Conservation of mass, momentum and energy to fluid systems.
3. Explain the concept of dimensional analysis.
4. Apply the concept of Steady Incompressible Flow in Conduits
