variety of oral and written theme-based activities.

III. PROCEDURE:

A. Preliminaries (10 minutes)


1. Prayer
2. Checking of Attendance
3. Checking Assignment/Homework
4. Students will read some words. Words will be shown through Flash Cards.
5. Children will read aloud the words.
B. ACTIVITY

B. 1. Discussion of the topics (15 minutes)

 Presenting “If you are happy and you know it” that shows an action.
 Show another presentation on how to take ourselves properly.

C. Analysis (5 minutes)

1. What are they doing in the video?


2. How do you take care of yourself?

D. ABSTRACTION: (10 minutes)

1. What do we call again about action words?


2. Do you think we need to take care of ourselves?
3. Why do we need to take care of ourselves?

E. APPLICATION: (15 minutes)

 Learner to Material (Word Basket) (5 minutes)


1. Learners will get the basket that has words cut into apple shape.
2. Learners will determine if it is an action word.
3. Learners will paste it on the tree.

 Learner to Learner (Online Quiz Game) (5 minutes)


1. Both learners will watch a video and guess if what the action words are.
2. Learners will use Zipgrade Application to choose the action words.
3. If the internet is slow, write it on the provided manila paper.

 Groupings (5 minutes)
1. Each group will get an envelope that contains a task, after they identify what
are the action word is, they need to act or to perform it in front.
2. Results will be given after group activities

ASSIGNMENT (5 minutes)

Direction: Read the paragraph carefully. Identify the action words and encircle
them.

I am a Healthy Person

I am a healthy person. I drink eight glasses of water every day. I love to play together
with my friends. I brush my teeth 2x a day. I eat healthy foods and enjoy helping my
parents to wash the dishes.
