What have you learned from this subject?

Assessment could substantially improve students’ performance, guide the teachers if their
teaching-learning approach is effective or not and for them to enhance it if needed. It also assists Policy
Makers to improve the educational system. A tool for determining the extent which an educational
process or program is effective and at the same time indicates direction for remediating process of the
curriculum that do not contribute to the success of the learner. Assessment Drives Learning, It means
we have to plan our assessment very carefully, in such a way that our students will learn what we want
them to learn. Assessment is very important for our students, because it shows them where they are
falling short. That is why teachers should always discuss exams with students afterwards, to show them
what the right answers were, and where they made mistakes. For the same reason, students must be
given their marks, and their exam scripts, as soon as possible. Assessment which is done in this way,
while the students are still learning, before I thought that making an assessment is just easy after
reading my modules I’ve found out that you have to consider many things before making a question.
This may be hard but I know I will master this someday, nothing is impossible if you are interested in
what you’re doing.
