1.If Jose Rizal was alive today, what will be his reactions and actions to the issue/issues
described in the film?
If Rizal was alive today, he would be happy and disappointed. Rizal would be so
proud of those people, who choose to protect the nature, even if it cause their lives.
They`re willing to protect the nature in order for the future generation to have a better
place to live in, and that's the part, what really Rizal would like. Und he will be
disappointed, because the person who ruins the environment is the one that needs to
protect the environment, which is the government.

The action that Rizal will do is first to establish a federation to protect the
environment. Second is to create a law that whoever catches doing illegal logging and
illegal fishing will be punished. Will make another law that people cannot establish a
business on a site where the environment should be preserved. They need to study the
hidden by the allure of tourism and promises of development are decades of illegal
logging and fishing in the province, enabled by incompetence of the local government in
enforcing environmental laws. Remove those corrupt politicians, they only do is to get
money from people and make illegal business. Rizal can make a campaign to encourage
people to take an active role in anti-corruption and environmental protection initiatives.
Encourage community-led projects and grassroots movements. Can also establish a
proper system for tracking and reporting environmental illegal acts and corruption that
promote the use of technology for keeping track of and reporting these kinds of
instances.

Collectively, these steps can lead to a society that is more accountable, transparent,
and environmentally sustainable.
2. Personally, what will also be your reactions and actions on the issues described in the
film?
I` m very proud of the bravery of our fellow Filipinos to protect our environment for
us to have a better environment in the future. How they can be able to risk their lives,
just all of us can have a better place to live in. How can we trust our government, ifs
that happening in the behind of everything? If the government was against us.

It`s scary, that the government, that should be protecting us, is the putting us in
danger? Imagine, your doing is for the country`s benefit, but the government is
against, because they can`t gain money from it. It`s sad to watch, how many of our
countrymen are willing to change our country for the better, but cannot speak, because
we can`t contradict those powerful politicians. The action, I can do as a student, is to
spread awareness to the citizen of what is happening in the government and the
deforestation and illegal fishing, because, if they knew, what is the situation in our
country, they could contribute to the solution of the problem. I would also encourage
them not to do the vote-buying of the politicians. They can accept the money, but they
do not need to let the politician buy their votes a person. I can suggest in our
Community Projects that aim to address both corruption and environmental issues.
Partner with local organizations or authorities to implement solutions. I will participate
in advocacy campaigns to promote policies that combat corruption and protect the
environment. Engage with local and national policymakers to voice your concerns and
suggestions.

No matter how small or big your contribution, the matter the most is, that you
help. Volunteering, no matter how tiny, can lead to important improvements. You can
make a significant contribution to building a more equitable and sustainable future by
actively participating in these activities.
