NARRATIVE REPORT ON SCHOOL LEARNING ACTION CELL SESSION

ON MASTERING CANVA, GOOGLE FORMS AND AUTOMATED FORMS

Jose Sanvictores Sr. National School conducted SLAC on Workshop

on Mastering Canva, Google Forms and Automated Forms on October 18,
2023 at Computer Laboratory. The SLAC facilitators aim to help teacher
create simple but engaging learning materials. On the other hand, help non-
teaching to gather data using google forms and drive. And also teacher may
assess students’ progress with ease using automated school forms.
The session was started at 1:30 in the afternoon. The session
commences with a prayer via multimedia, followed by singing of a
nationalistic song, and delivering a welcome message by our school principal
Ma’am Emelda G. Crombie, next was the statement of purpose by Ma’am
Fate P. Forossuelo then followed by introduction of our facilitators.
The session proper was handled by our three (3) SLAC facilitators.
Ma’am Fate P. Forossuelo discussed the Canva for Education features such
as e-Books and e-Book covers, beautiful presentations for their subjects,
class schedules, worksheets, handouts, online test papers and posters and
demonstrated how to make a certificate of participation by just searching in
on click then the templates will appear.
The second facilitator was Ma’am Angela Q. Rulete and she discussed
about the google apps such google drive where teacher can make their own
folders and how to share it to others. She also introduces and demonstrated
on how to make google sheet, google docx and google forms for quizzes. She
also demonstrated on how to mail merge data that are very helpful with
teacher on making certificate of recognition where teachers can make
certificates in just a minute without wasting time in editing the data needed.
Lastly was, Sir Eddian C. Sarmiento and he discussed the automated
school form that help teachers to easily transfer data in the different school
forms.
After all the discussion everyone was given time to accomplish their
outputs and send it in the link provided for them.
Everyone was cooperative to the facilitators and to end the session,
everybody round up for the closing prayer led Maam Sarah S. Deligero and
the session was successfully done.
