READING OF THE LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the lesson, the learners are expected to
describe mixtures.

MOTIVATION:
What comes to mind when you hear “mixtures”? Do
you use mixtures every day?
Do you know that mixtures can be found everywhere?

Present a picture of a family preparing food and

drinks.
Ask:

What are they doing?

Do you help your parents in preparing your food and
drinks at home?

Do you eat salad? or drink orange juice? What are the

ingredients to prepare these?
(Solicit ideas from the pupils)

Lead the learners to Activity 1: Creating Mixtures

The teacher will divide the class into five. Present
different forms of mixtures and let the pupils observe,
fill in the table, and answer the following questions.
